1. Program Overview
MAGCOR Inc. (“MAGCOR”, “we”) operates a single SMS notification program covering both customer-facing and workforce communications, sent from our toll-free number +1 (833) 567-0888. SMS is used exclusively for operational purposes — we do not send marketing or promotional messages on this number.

2. Who We Are
MAGCOR Inc. is a Toronto-based demolition, excavation, underpinning, and abatement contractor. We send SMS from a single toll-free number to two distinct audiences: customers (regarding their inquiries, estimates, and active projects) and MAGCOR workers (regarding their shift assignments and operational communications).
3. What Messages You May Receive
The messages you receive depend on whether you opted in as a customer or a worker. Both types of message originate from the same toll-free number but cover different operational topics.
Example messages:
- Hi [Name], MAGCOR here. Your estimate for the work at [Address] is ready to view: magcor.app/p/[id]. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
- MAGCOR: Your 7:00 AM pickup at the yard for [Site] is confirmed. Reply STOP to opt out.
- MAGCOR: Reminder to submit today's daily report for [Project]. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
4. Frequency
Message frequency varies. A typical week is between 0 and 10 messages, depending on the stage of your project (for customers) or the number of shifts you are scheduled for (for workers). Messages are sent only when there is operational information to share — there is no fixed cadence.
5. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge for incoming and outgoing messages depending on your plan. MAGCOR does not charge separately for SMS messages.
6. How to Opt In
Opt-in is always explicit. Providing your phone number to MAGCOR alone does not constitute consent to receive SMS. You opt in through one of the following methods, all of which are logged in our customer record system with a timestamp, method, and source for compliance purposes:
- Customer online form: by checking the SMS consent box on the MAGCOR lead intake form when submitting an inquiry. The box is unchecked by default and affirmative action is required.
- Customer verbal consent: by giving explicit verbal consent to a MAGCOR representative during a phone call or in-person estimate. The representative reads a specific verbal-consent script and records your consent in our system.
- Worker opt-in: by checking the “I agree to receive SMS messages from MAGCOR” box on your worker profile within the MAGCOR Company Platform. The box is unchecked by default. Consent is not a condition of employment.
7. How to Opt Out
You can opt out at any time, with no questions asked. Your opt-out is effective immediately upon receipt.
- Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any MAGCOR message. You will receive a single confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out, after which no further SMS will be sent.
- Contact us directly at (416) 663-3366 or info@magcor.ca and ask to be removed.
- Workers may also ask a MAGCOR administrator to update their profile.

9. Carrier Disclaimer
SMS service is supported on major Canadian and U.S. carriers, including Bell, Rogers, Telus, and their affiliates. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS service may not be available in all areas at all times.
10. Privacy
MAGCOR does not sell, share, or distribute your mobile number or SMS content to third parties for marketing purposes. Phone numbers and SMS content are shared only with Twilio Inc. (our SMS delivery provider) as strictly necessary to deliver these messages. Information collected through SMS may be used to provide and improve the service you have requested. We retain SMS consent records (date, method, source) for compliance purposes.

11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Continued enrollment in the program after a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated to subscribers by SMS when reasonably practicable.
