1. Who we are

MAGCOR Inc. ("MAGCOR", "we", "us") is a demolition, excavation, underpinning, and abatement contractor based in Toronto, Ontario. This policy explains how we collect and use personal information through the MAGCOR Company Platform (magcor.app) and related services.

2. Information we collect

We collect personal information about workers (employees and contractors) and clients in order to operate our business. Specifically:

• Worker information: name, role, phone number, email address, employment status, schedule assignments, time-clock entries, daily reports, photos uploaded as part of reports, SMS opt-in status and consent timestamp.
• Client information: name, business name, contact details, project addresses, project descriptions, proposals and contracts, payment status.
• Platform usage: sign-in times, IP addresses, device information, activity logs of edits made within the platform.

3. How we use this information

• Operating the platform: scheduling work, tracking labour, generating reports, sending proposals, processing payments.
• Communicating with workers about their assignments via the platform, email, and (with consent) SMS.
• Communicating with clients about their projects via email.
• Maintaining records for tax, payroll, insurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Improving the platform and diagnosing problems.

4. SMS messages specifically

We send SMS messages to workers who have explicitly opted in via the MAGCOR Company Platform. Opt-in is recorded by checking a clearly labelled box on the worker's profile that is unchecked by default. We record the date and time of opt-in along with the method of consent.

Phone numbers and SMS message content are shared only with Twilio Inc. (our SMS delivery provider) to deliver messages. They are not shared with any other third party for any purpose and are never used for marketing.

A worker can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any MAGCOR message or by asking an administrator to update their profile. Opt-out is effective immediately and is processed automatically.

5. Who we share information with

We share personal information only with the service providers that operate the platform on our behalf, and only for the purposes described above:

• Supabase Inc. — database and storage
• Netlify Inc. — application hosting
• Twilio Inc. — SMS delivery (worker phone numbers and message content only)
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Anthropic — AI features such as drawing extraction (only the specific data submitted for that feature)

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with advertisers, marketers, or data brokers.

6. How long we keep information

Worker information is retained for the duration of employment plus seven years for tax and regulatory compliance. Client and project information is retained for ten years after project completion. SMS opt-in and opt-out records are retained for seven years to demonstrate compliance with carrier and regulatory requirements.

7. Your rights

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Withdraw consent for SMS messages at any time (reply STOP to any MAGCOR message, or ask an administrator).
• Make a complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

8. Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to the platform is protected by individual user accounts and role-based permissions. We will notify affected individuals and authorities of any material privacy breach as required by law.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to platform users. The "Last updated" date at the top of this policy reflects the most recent change.
